Drive By 8-9-25

 We drove by the property, and dropped off some plumbing items.  We walk around admiring the work done so far. Top of stairs looking towards the front of the house.  Temporary support to install the roof joists in way of the stairs. Great Room, looking towards the kitchen, framing for the bedrooms, bathroom, laundry, and pantry are up.  Temporary support for the Center Roof beam, will be removed at some point in the future. Great Room, looking towards the top landing of the stairs.  Temporary support for the pony wall and temporary access for roof joists in the stair well, to be removed at some point during construction. Builder Update 8-6-25

 Builder made some more progress this past week.  Here is the pictures they sent me.  Drove past the property on Saturday, admiring the progress  and craftsmanship.  Got a few people passing by while we were talking a look, commenting on how beautiful it looks. Looks like they installed the second Center Ridge Log before they left on Thursday. The wood piles are getting smaller.  You can see the second Center Ridge Log better from this angle. The front of the house, you can see the second Center Ridge Log better in this angle.

Builder update 7-24-25

 Another update from the builder, little more done,  Front wall is completed! Framing for the large front windows are up, the center ridge log is installed! Framing for the large front windows, the center ridge log is installed. Back wall, the center ridge log is cut to nest into the top of the back wall logs. Front Wall,  A single log holds the center ridge log in front of the house.  either side will be windows.  to be supported by a few more logs to frame the windows. The center ridge log is supported by a post that goes straight down into the garage.  This post will be hidden within the walls of the house. The back wall and the center post supports the main ridge log. Center Ridge Log.  There will be two center ridge logs to give it strength to hold the roof and snow loads.  The bottom one is installed first showing the flat top to where the second log will join up with. Builder update 7-22-25

 Another update from the builder!  Another week a little more progress. The Warmboard subfloor is covered for projection as they continue to work on the house. The scaffolding is brought to the second floor to continue work on the back wall of the house. Back wall, logs are getting shorter to match the future slope of the roof. Back Right Rear Corner.  Shorter logs showing where the roof slope will be. Second Floor, Heavy paper to protect the subfloor for construction. Back wall,  All the logs for the back wall is finally installed.  Next up the front wall.
